This Sales Manager is responsible for delivering on assigned sales targets within an assigned territory or accounts, related to company products and/or services in line with the annual North American sales plan and margin, PT strategy and company ethical standards to guarantee full compliance with all regulatory requirements. Directs and coordinates activities of organization engaged in the sale of Proton Therapy equipment, and providing customer services, to organizations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Must be able and willing to travel>75% of the time.

- Demonstrated consistent sales success in capital equipment industry preferably in Radiation Oncology
- Comfortable with managing complex and lengthy sales cycles; has excellent organization skills
- Strong ability to establish rapport, credibility and influence across a broad spectrum of stakeholders from clinical to administrative; strong influencer
- Ability to identify customer needs and to translate company products and services into winning value propositions
- Demonstrates customer empathy and can balance that with company position to achieve win-win in meeting customer expectations
- Can adapt & respond easily to change; remains calm under pressure
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, excellent time and process management skills, and close attention to detail.
- Excellent and persuasive communicator; both verbal and written; strong presentation skills
- Has utmost integrity
- Team player

Scope and Main Responsibilities
- Achieve equipment and service revenues objectives at agreed margin targets
- Pro-actively manage the sales cycle from prospect identification and/or creation to close
- Grow the PT market by achieving quarterly “Observer & Mover, quarterly pipeline objectives
- Grow customer loyalty within the installed based by proactively meeting customer expectations
- Grow market intelligence, product & customer knowledge within the North America Region
- Support all commercial North American activities

Education and Experience
- B.S. or B.A. from an accredited college/university in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Physics, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum four (7) years of successful sales experience in capital medical equipment sales
- Knowledge and familiarity with medical devices used in Radiation Therapy, preferably Proton Therapy
- History and strong track record of executional excellence.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, excellent time and process management skills, and close attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and working in CRM system(s).
