Clinical Director / Registered Nurse in San Jose, Ca
Clinical Director Position is open with a home health care agency. This is for a Registered Nurse.

In charge of running the other RNs that service the patients. This position is mainly administrative, with patient visits occurring on rare occasions.

You will oversee the hiring and retention of the RNs involved in servicing the patients. You will also ensure that the quality of care given by the RNs are kept at a high level as well as take initiative to find where patient care can be provided and help design and run training programs.

Demonstrated multi-tasking ability and effective organizational skills in order to meet short deadlines with finite resources.

Demonstrated ability to develop, retain and manage an effective caregiver team.

Computer proficiency including the ability to utilize software programs for creating documents and data analysis.

Meets the requirements of federal and or state criminal and abuse background checks where applicable.

Must meet applicable federal and state health requirements to provide client services as appropriate.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and may require occasional work to be performed in patient homes.

Ability to travel as needed.

Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and evening hours as needed.

Able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds in order to carry out daily job functions and related activities that may be required. Frequently walking or standing or sitting most of the time and using arms or legs to push/pull.

Must have a license to work in the state of California.

Must have a degree as a RN.

Five (5) years of home care experience as a Registered Nurse within the last seven (7) years.

Three (3) years of home care experience managing caregivers within the last five (5) years.

Full Time 8-5 Monday – Friday

$75-$85K/year
